Speech Therapist - PRN

Job Description Scott Memorial Hospital
The Speech Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of inpatient and outpatient's referred to the facility. This includes patient evaluation, development, and implementation of an appropriate treatment plan, delivery of treatment services, and comprehensive discharge planning. The therapist functions as an effective team member and contributes to the development and achievement of department and organizational goals and objectives. Performs barium swallows and modified barium swallows.
Job Requirements
Education: BS degree from an accredited college for speech pathologist / therapist required. Prefer Master degree
Required Experience: Minimum of two years preferred
Licensure: Licensed Speech Therapist in the State of Indiana.
Skills: Clinical skills required vary based on practice setting and programmatic needs of the facility. Effective time management. Effective oral and written communication skills.
Equipment: Computers, therapy modalities, therapy exercise equipment, therapy diagnostic and testing equipment.
BLS: required

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
